OMG! and I was jealous of my neighbor and his tiny 10 tank fish room, lol!
In a word "AWSOME"! It looks like you have your own lfs going on in there, good luck
Wow, that looks like the cleanest most organized LFS ever...unbelievable that it is a private residence Those are some lucky fish! +1 on the jealousy, I am positive green...
Very awesome and amazing!!! You did great work! I'm getting ready to move my tanks to a new room and get them more organized. I would love to know what the black background is. If I remember right from your other thread, it was something you put directly on the wall when building. Also, how do you hide the cords for the aquariums in the "island"? Would you mind sharing? Again, awesome setup!!!
The total number of tanks in the room is now 88.......... The air and water for the "island" come from the main loops on the ceiling. The electrical power for the "island" with the 300g comes in via one power cord on the floor that feeds a "power bar" with multiple outlets. This supplies power for the Iwaki return pump on the 300g, and a timer that runs the lights on the fry tanks below. The 300g lights are powered from the ceiling. The tanks don't use heaters as I heat the room rather than each individual tank.
I don't have backgrounds on the tanks.... The interior walls of the fishroom are 7/16 OSB with 2 coats of black oil based "Barn & Fence" paint, and the backs and sides of the tanks are painted black with exterior latex housepaint.
WeedCali....... What pyramid diffuser are you referring to ?
