I finally got around to updating my tank (old pics here)...it's still a work in progress but it's coming along well. This is still a biotope tank so updates will come from the region (vals, a few crypts, more ferns, and kuhli loaches). There's been quite a bit of aquascaping since the last thread, as well as the addition of the fluorite. I've been considering adding some wood shrimp or nerite snails but haven't decided yet. Sorry for the somewhat crappy pic quality :-)

very nice. how many dwarf gouramis do you have? it seems like theres two but are there more?

thanks. just two...thinking about adding a third though but probably a different species. i do have bit of a nipping problem as one of the blues is more aggressive than the other so i'm hoping a third would move some of the attention.

new update! went out today and got some giant hygro and a vals as well as 4 kuhli loaches! i've been looking for those loaches for months! here's some update pics...i still feel like it's missing something so feel free to comment!

so far sooooo good

keep up the updates

thanks! i'm gonna make a quick trip to lowe's tomorrow to get some peat moss...the filter's due for a nice cleaning so i figure why not make it a little more genuine. hopefully i can find a few good java ferns at petsmart also (LFS was out of ferns) and maybe a nice piece of driftwood for the (barer) right hand side. come to think of it, i may run down to the river to look for the wood... :-)
