hmmmmm...... i have had them on there for about 4 mons. now and no problems yet!!! they are only for 3 hrs a night from 6p.m. to 9p.m. then the LED's are on from 9p.m. till the wee hours of the mornin. i will def. keep an eye on the algae issue though. thank u

what kind of lighting were you thinking of ?!?!....i have some other bulbs but they are more daylight....as for the substrate whats the problem!!
i have black sand and aragonite in there now... maybe some play sand or pool filter sand might look good!

Yes, I want some so bad!!!!!! Im willing to get 150 gallon tank just to have some! I have always wanted fronts, there amazing looking with the giant head as they mature. amazing looking and colors and so very regal.
Oh and the tank, I wish I had that but Im going to book mark this page as I have slate like that and thats going to be in my tank !! the blue is dinomite and I never have liked blue, but with the lighting and the blue and the slate you pulled it off so well thats my next tank!
