Urchin Poop?

I just got a Royal Urchin the other day and I was just looking at him and the strangest thing was happening. At the very top of him it looked like he was laying eggs or pooping. These very tiny little things were falling out of the very top of him one right after another. Anyone have a clue?

Got a picture of what I am talking about.. Can anyone tell me what fell from my urchin?

It's waste. They emit waste from the top so it looks like big grains of sand are coming out. They produce a good bit as well. If my urchin sits in one spot for a while, there will always be a small pile of poop behind.
