URGENT: Betta needs help!!

Thanks guys! I fed him some frozen brine shrimp today after fasting him for a few days, and I'm going to fast him again and then try a pea. What about moving him to the 10g? I removed the cuttlebone today and it was disgusting... it probably had messed up the water pararemeters (the water I removed was black, partly from the rotting cuttlebone and driftwood) but I did a water change and the snails are much more active. It looks so empty so I'd really like to move him in but I don't want to kill the snails.

If you move your Betta to the ten gallon you may end up with dead snails due to the medicine you are putting into the tank or due to your Betta eating the snails.

That's what I was unsure about. For now, since I moved my Delta-tail to my new 2g hex tank, I moved Lenny to the 2g bowl and he is LOVING the extra swimming room, lol.

He's pretty much the same, but no worse thankfully... I'm going to fast him 1 more day then feed him a pea. It might just be my eyes but the swelling looks like it's going down a little... We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed!

BUMP!

I've taken him off medication as I've been treating him for quite a while... he has been getting fed every couple of days with frozen foods but he doesn't seem to like them all that much, I'm not sure if he knows he's supposed to eat them. He is still slightly pineconing but it looks a bit better. I took a few pics to try to see how the dropsy was looking (sorry for bad quality). Should I put him back on the meds? He was on them for a few weeks. (He was taking Maracyn 2.) Thanks for any help...
