On a side note: I really think this should be a sticky. It's a perfect example of how to asses and treat a horrible situation and work towards a happy outcome. JMO.

I agree. I wish more people could be aware of this success story.
I do think it is an amazingly good example of how hard work, clean water, and a fish's immune system can work wonders in the healing process.
I think most people would never believe that such a recovery could take place in the face of such serious injuries.

I agree and I'm absolutely amazed. I've seen too many fish succumb to injuries much milder than that. That fish far exceeded my expectations. It could be that Paroon Sharks are just naturally tough as nails.
