Hi everyone,
Today I noticed a white spot/bump on the "nose" area of my new peppered cory; got him about a week ago. He is extremely active, swims around at all levels of the tank, and eats well. Params are pristine. Sorry about the photo quality, but this is all I could get without him swimming away. I'm leaving for college again in four days, and I need to know what action to take ASAP!
I really appreciate your time; thank you so much!

It doesn't appear to be a hole, just looks like a spot rubbed raw, but a little bit raised. Nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia 0. pH is 6.6.

Nitrites, nitrates *and* ammonia at 0? How long has the tank been established? How big is the tank? What else is in it?

I just did a water change when I first got him; that explains the params, haha. Nitrates perhaps 2.5 instead of 0 ppm, but it was almost nothing. The tank is 6gal, an Eclipse System 6 (and will be for a month until i get a bigger one and set it up), there is a Peruvian laser cory in perfect health, and some assorted live plants.
URGENT UPDATE: I found another white spot on the front base of his dorsal fin today! Could it be ich??

I might just be scarring. Does he ever swim into things?

He is a maniacal swimmer and I've certainly observed him swim around vigorously, but not really into things too much that I've seen. Definitely a possibility though.
