i think your talking about base rock, like a piece of rock before it went in the ocean to become live. IMO i dont think their would be any problem as long as it was cleaned
I just pulled them out of the bucket of water, so there a wet, wouldv been better to show them dry, but heres the pics of the rocks I'm talking about. Hope this helps as of what rock I'm talking about.
Do you guys have any takes on the rock in the Pics above? To me it almost seems like it could be for fresh or saltwater. Looks similar to some of the rocks I have already. Didn't know I you know if it "is" calcium based.
