What would you do with a 29 gallon feshwater tank?

limit responses to these types:

rasboras
various tetras
loaches
corydoras
swordtails
mollies
playtes
barbs
various snails

How would you decorate it? What fish combinations would you pick?

7 harlequinn rasboras, 7 pygmy cory catfish, 1 male and 3 female platies of differing flavors, and various snails.

I wish I had a 29 gal...

Probably a group of corydoras (4 of a certain type), 6 zebra danios, 2 male sword tails, 6 harlequins.

I know what I would do with that. I'm planning a heavily planted/aquascaped 30g with harlequins and neons/cardinals. Something like this -

going off what you have listed, i would do a 29 with:

5-8 blind cave tetras
2-3 butterfly loaches
1 male sword of whatever type
4 female plattys of various color/type
2 apple snails

i would deorate with driftwood and fine natural stone.
think that would look cool

Skim the surface of the leaves. Poop collects in the strangest of places.

Me personally, a pair of flag fish.. watch them breed.

But If i stayed with in your list, I would just place a trio of Swordtails in there or 1 male and 3 females. Turn this into a breeding tank.
