Used 46 Gallon Bowfront at LPS

A LPS in my area has a used 46 gallon bowfront tank for sale for $125. It includes the tank and the hood. I don't remember if there are anymore access. included.Is this a good price? To me it sounds a little high. I would like to get another tank someday in the 40- 60 gallon size range.

If I were to pay that for a 46, some equipment would have to come with it, or a stand to put it on. Check craigslist for your local area, now that economic times are hard, ppl are getting rid of things..

You cold ask the lps if they would take a lower price for it.

I paid $150 for mine w/ glass top, strip light & stand.

Thank you. I believe it came with a hood and strip light and no stand. The next time I go there I will check it out

I got mine on craigslist for $240 but it was only 6 months old, came with a stand, light strip, canister filter, 2 fish, lots of chemicals, lots of food, a big siphon hose that can hook to your sink, a nice air bubbler, gravel, 5 castles, extra filter media/filter pads, and various other little useful items. I thought it was a pretty sweet deal. I would check craigslist.
