Using a fogger around aquariums

The terro stuff kicks butt.

Skip the little cardboard things that comes with it and put it right on the surfaces. Completely non-toxic (unless you are an ant), made of corn syrup (bait) and borax (kills the ants)
Just a warning though, once you put it out, you will get more ants for a while after they tell all their buddies about the new food source they found.

Also, don't kill the ants you see eating the Terro because they will take it back to the colony and kill all the ants there. Just keep using it until the ants are gone. I have found the it works better if you reapply daily.

I'm gonna have to look into this. They're all over my desk so if I spray it on a piece of paper and leave it on the desk, I'll be good?

Yeah. It is actually the consistency of syrup, so you will want to dribble some on your desk and wherever else there are ants. The ants will enthusisastically eat it up, so it might be kinda gross when the ants swarm to the bait. I found that it works better if you put it directly on the surface instead of on a piece of paper, sometimes the ants are kinda stupid about finding it.

Again, don't worry if it takes a couple days. The entire colony must be destoyed, not just the ones in your room.

you can do what people out in the countryside do.. follow the trail to the ant hill... pour a half gallon of gasoline in the hole, light, watch burn. :D

thats fun i love doing that i like to watch and see where the other exits are they come running out its great. NOTE this also works well on scaring out Ground hogs and coons that dig up your property.

I live "out in the country" & would never contaminate my property in the fashion suggested by the last two members!!! But I do agree with the Terro ant killer product. Just make sure the family pets don't get into it.

I have no family pets other than the fish. I'm hoping they don't get into it. :) Bought some of the stuff at Wal-mart today. Will be deploying it tomorrow after I get done with spring cleaning in my bedroom.

I put out one Terro ant trap and after a few hours it was swarming with ants. I added a second because there were so many swarming into the first one. The traps seem to be attracting ants I'll give them that much. Got some of the bait on my hands. It's sticky, but I was able to lick it off. :)

Aye, it's good on pancakes too.
