Using a used HOB filter

I have a used TopFin 30 that I cleaned up fairly well. It still has some deposits in where the impellar sits. I tried cleaning with vinegar and a brush as best I could. Only so much you can actually reach. Do you think it would be good enough to add onto my 29g to start getting it seeded?

yup, i think it will be fine.

make sure to get all of the vinegar out before you start running the filter again.

thx...has been rinsed and set up on the old tank and running while performing my leak test. I rinsed again this morning with hot water. and then put it on.
