Hi everyone.....

When I wanted to set-up my reef aquarium, my LFS ask me to add bacteria to aquarium. My question, do I need to add the bacteria to my aquarium to maintain the aquarium balance?:help:

And if it is new, and not an established tank, the bacteria will grow on it's own, provided there is a source of ammonia in the tank, like a little food.
Live rock in the tank is especially good for bacteria to develop on.
Be sure though, that the tank has properly cycled and has no trace of ammonia or nitrites before beginning to to add livestock, and, add a little at a time, giving the system time to build up to the new tank load each time.
