Using guppies to feed angels

Way back in my head idea... if I set up a tank with a few angels and mixed-gender guppies, would the angels eat the fry but not eat the parents?

Yes, I'm bloodthirsty Actually, just wanted to gives the angels a more natural activity than eating pellets.

yeah

they will devour the fry - but won't bother the parents because they are too big

I guess even if they eat the parents it won't be too expensive, just a shame.

The parents will be too large to fit in the angels mouth, but the angels will devour the fry.

I had 3 - 10 gallon tanks used only for breeding guppies when I was a kid. I then fed the babies to my anglefish. It was a great idea back then and I think it still is. My fish were always healthy and the colors were awsome.

actually most of the cheap guppies you can get are underfed and the males are tiny, well they all are really... if an angelfish can take out mostly grown neons those male guppies would have to be pretty smart not to get eaten

and at any rate you would have to have hideing places even for the adults
