using PVC cement

I finally decided to make a spray bar to reduce current in my 110 discus tank. I have two fluval 305s and they push way too much water so I made two spray bars with 1/2" pvc but I need to know how to seal the connections. Is PVC cement safe when dried? I probably should be on a plumbers forum for this question but does anyone here have any experience with this?

Should be fine once dried....it is used on pipes for drinking water so I would assume it to be safe

I agree. I've used it on my tank, with no deaths.

The glue is used on all Potable water systems and Marine tanks also. Thats all i use when i do installs; PVC and the glue.

Yeah its fine, I used it for some custom overflow plumbing in my 90, and I see a lot of LFS use it too.

you can also use epoxy glue

PVC cement is fine. I've used it for my river manifold setups for loaches.

Yep I've used it on my intake/output plumbing as well.

works fine.. only problem is you cant undo it if its wrong... i like silicone.. but im one of those "why build it right the first time" sorta guys
