you won't be fine if a rock explodes and you just put the lid on. solid rock going as fast as a bullet will cut through the metal like a knife through peanut butter.
ok thank you for freaking me out! looks like i wont be boiling rocks anymore!
i put the rocks in my hospital tank for about a half hr and then tested the water... looks like ph and everything stayed the same. didnt' test ammonia though. im doing the vinegar test now
