Well not quite... I was wondering if I could put one of those ship wreck decorations in my tank... the lfs told me he wasnt sure and that it might start like breaking to pieces... in a matter of speaking... what the heck do you think...

If its rated for aquariums (i.e. found in the aquarium section) then i don't see why not.

It will get covered with 'stuff'--algae and stony tube worms and such. You probably won't be able to scrub these things off without also removing the paint. Otherwise, it should be fine. I know of someone who has trash--ie, glass bottles, jars, plates, similar stuff he saw diving in his local waters. The pics of it are really cool.

My hubby wanted a "ship wreck" I wanted a more natural appearance we setteled for a shipwreck that wasn't so "cartoon" to me it still looks a little "phony" I wanted things to remain natural in size and appearance. But it is a nice ship wreck and gives the fish another cave like area to explore.I got mine at my LFS and they said it would be fine in salt water.

I don't have a sw tank yet but my fw has a shipwreck that had been in it for say 5 or more years
