I've seen here on AC that using fertilizers when you also have a UV light is not a good practice?

I'm assuming that the UV negates the ferts, or is there something more to it than that?

I think it may be an overstatement that UV renders nutrients inaccessible.

As I understand it UV may, in theory, affect Fe iron utilization, but for practicle purpose there is limited basis for concern, and little if any impact of UV on plant growth attributable to changes in fert uptake. Some folk run UV only on a demand basis, others run 24/7.
