When i was using polished rocks he would always move them around, pile them up and dig huge holes under hiding spots.
a couple weeks ago i switched to sand and he still does the same thing. is this just normal territorial behavior or something else? he definitely is the dominant fish in the tank. he doesnt really stick to one hiding spot but definitely sticks to excavating just one spot.
