I have vals in my 30 that are growing pretty well. Very low light, minimal ferts, no Co2

Mine in the 55 have seen better days but its the only green other than algae so I am not removing them yet...

I also have ruffled sword and that is also barely growing, theres 5-6 green leafs from each plant but they are only 1-1.5" when they normally supposed to be wayy bigger. Everything else in the tank is growing great just not sure what the problem with these 2 is.. Your growth is making me jealous lol

have no experience with vals yet, but my sag is like Mgamer said, with just co2 and low light, they grow great. with no co2, they are showing no growth.

are you sure those in your 10 arn't vals? one of them looked very much like my corkscrew val, even twisted.
