Various Pics from my Fish Room

Impressive tanks in a very nice room!!!

Howdy fellow michianaer (?)! I'm up near Bridgman in MI, right on the lake.
Those are some really nice tanks you have there. I was wondering where you were able to pick up these fish? A local breeder, LFS, or shipped to you? My next tank will most likely be cichlids and i'd love to find somewhere local to get my fish...

Hey Neighbor,

Thanks for the kudos.

I got my wild caughts (Gibberosa, Altolamps, Brevis & Cyps) from a friend in CA who is an importer. My Brevis & comps have not started breeding yet. My Gibberosa are a breeding and I do have F1 fry from time to time. If interested, shoot me a PM and we can continue this conversation off line :)

I do have tank raised yellow lab fry too. Also, I am planning to get some different wc mbuna to breed sometime in the next couple months.

Thanks,
Russ

Here's the pics, as promised, from the unfinished side of the basement :)

From left to right, here's what are in the tanks:
  • 10G yellow lab fry (TR tank raised)
  • 55G yellow labs (TR)
  • 20L Gibberosa fry (F1) & Cyprichromis fry (F1)
  • 20L Turtle tank with a male kenyi
  • 125G backside of the 125 that was built into the wall.
