I've searched the forums but couldn't find a thread listing fish that are mostly or all vegetarian. It seems amazing to me that you could feed it organic spinach or cucumber or bok choy. Thanks a bunch!

In case you didn't know, the better terms to use are herbivorous (no meat, strictly vegetation) or omnivorous (some meat and vegetation). By posting this thread, are you wanting to finding out what fish are herbivorous, or were you just remarking at the fact that there are herbivorous fish?
Ah yes, thank you for clarifying that. I'd like to know which fish are herbivorous if any.
They're fine on those, but I'd add some veggie flakes and make those a staple.
(Since I just got some--they arrived today! pics to come--I've researched them heavily. They actually have tricuspid teeth and are fairly specialized in eating filamentous algae!)

Kissing Gouramis are omnivorous, but primarily feed on algae and plant matter (hence why their lips are shaped like scrapers, and they "kiss" everything).
Mine spends all day nitpicking every leaf on every plant for algae, she's fun to watch. They get quite big and are very aggressive though, so you need a 40g+ for one specimen, and specific tankmates for them to work.

They might be more omnivorous though, not sure.
