It's SPRING!!! BUNNIE RABBITS
I have been keeping Corns for a very long time and been around the block for a few years. This book is the definitive Cornsnake keeper book.
there are three people right now that many consider to be one of the top dogs in Corn snakes. Heck, and 1 of them retired from Corns this year. Sold out his entire collection (a few 1000 snakes) of corn snakes, been breeding them since the 70s, he owns cornsnakes.com.
But the 2 things I recommend to you, Cornsnakes.com and the book by Kathy Love should help and answer any of your questions that you have or will have about corns.
Also vermiculite isnt that easy to get ahold of any more, most stores are no longer selling it due to the fact many believe it causes cancer. So it is no longer wide spread as it used to be. The only time I use it is for a bedding for the eggs to incubate in. But last year I had a 100% success rate with Damp Sphagnum moss.
