very custom 55 stand

I think you should put a couple of Pothos plants on either end of the stand...let them trail onto the floor and it will bring out the green from the tank.

I am no builder so what I think is that if the tank is still on it, then it was built fine. If the tank is on the floor one day, then hey...something gave way.

I like it.
 
looks strong enough too me, besides a lot of commercial made stands are just particle board, so if they are strong enough for the tanks they hold your stand should be more then strong enough
