Very new guy with new tank!

Wow that is great other then the lugging of the water. I wouldn't want to carry Like 120gals anywhere.

Wow that's cool. Can you post a FTP I forget what yours looks like or what size it is.

sorry woodright i just got a quick question for ace

why do you have to put a powerhead or airstone into a Ro water? i've seen my lfs doing this too.

Wow I just saw that there 18 poeple viewing this thread at once. I hope you all like it. Please drop a post. I would love to see if you liked it or if you see something i forgot.

Were almost there just need that dame filter. I did a test tonight. I wanted to see how the heaters would work so I heated the water up since last night and today I got some termomators to get it set to 77. Then I turned everything off like the power went out. Now I know that the rocks and sand might change this a bit but about 5 1/2 hours to drop to below 75. So I'm thinking that is roughly how long it can go with out power. Dose that sound right?

Ya, you can also wrap a blanket around your tank to help reduce heat loss during a power outtage. Also, if you run open top, if you can cover the top that would help.

Did you move the heaters away from each other? Also, check your temp with a probe. The temp settings on heaters are never right from experience. For me, to keep my tank at 78 I have to set the heater to 71.

you should also consider your equipment as a heater.

woodright i really love your thread. it keeps me awake in the middle of the night:coffee2:
