What do they charge were you are and where is that?
 
I believe it goes for $19.99 for a 20lb bag of dead and $29.99 for a small bag of live were I am at. That is the white sand though, not sure if that really makes much of a difference in price. So you scored at getting it for $7ea. Thats almost 1/3 the cost even if it isn't white. Like you said, the live mixed in will make it look nice and the white really doesn't last that long.. algae and all.
 
Yeah I know but it also isn't as fine eather. The stuff I got in there now looks like sand box sand.

Wow $60 for a 1.5" fish? That seems a bit high.
 
It's on the cover of Foster and Smith mag this month.
 
I think I'm gonna have to start a new thread when I get this thing up and cycling this one is getting to be long.
