My betta has been very sick for almost a week. He has just been staying up at the top of the water, barley moving. Now he's not even eating. I was treating him for a bizarre white spot on his pupils w/ CopperSafe and Maracyn. But last night I put him into a 1/2 gal bowl, cut the med's and keeping the water temp at a steady 80 degrees. His color is really faded. I've had him for almost two years and I'm so sad to see him suffer like this. Another forum said to decapitate him, but I can't bring myself to do that!! I don't think he is strong enough to medicate him w/ anything else. Anyone know what I can do? :bowing:

My euthanization of choice for fish is a sharp knife just behind the gills. If you're squeamish, I suggest clove oil.
