So I currently have a 37 gallon tank upstairs in my house. In the summer my parents live with us and they would love for me to move my tank downstairs so my father (who has ALS and is unable to come upstairs) can enjoy the tank as well. I do not want to move my tank since 1. it would be a pain it the @$$ and 2. I would not be able to enjoy the tank as much as I am always upstairs. In looking around on eBay I found this set up http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220113263164&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:US:1
the set up includes the stand, a powerhead and (quote from the seller ) "a bar gody, a royal gramma, a four stripe damsel, and a yellow watchman goby. I have a percula clown fish and a neon dotty back available also".
It seems like a great deal to me (I did ask what the reserve is but haven't heard back yet). What do you guys think?

Well, roughly converted to UK £...£150 ish, i would say its a pretty good deal to be honest....

The prizm protien skimmers make a great football though...many hours of fun kicking that around the garden to relieve the frustration with them....lol

The price is right for all that stuff, it looks to be a good deal. I have heard some not so good things about prizm skimmers though.

I know I can't wait to find out what the reserve is... my one problem is that i don't know where i'd put it. my dad spends most of his time here in the sunroom and i'd imagine i'd have a never ending battle with algae with that amnt of sunlight... i could ditch the stand and set it up on their dresser in their bedroom... hmm i can't stop thinking about this tank...

for 300 dollars id want to know what i was paying for besides that picture and an emperor and prizm. how many t5s and what brand? pounds of live rock. what fish. what corals. it could be a good deal, but if it doesnt have what you want or what you need, it could jsut bae a waste of money.

Just manage nutrients properly and the sunlight shouldn't be a problem, algae growth will certainly be rapid, but they can only grow as much as nutrients will allow. Most aquacultured corals are actualy grown using sunlight.

i could get that.. im like 20 miles from bollingbrook...
