VIA AQUA 750 external filter

Anyone know if a VIA AQUA 750 external filter (1200l/h) is a good buy for $143.50AU (down from $225AU), also if it is self priming, how good or bad they are, its for a 75gal.

I have a Via Aqua 750, I have Bio balls, Ceramic Filter rings, and filter foam for the first 3 layers could i use a coffee filter for the fourth for two days until I get the money to go get carbon? (I am a noob so please be nice if this is very dumb.)

I dont know anything about those filters.

I do know that coffee filters will disintegrate rapidly.

Go online to Ebay Australia or to Guppys Aquarium Supplies and buy a JT304B filter (SunSun HW-304B).

A far better filter for around $99.
