Previously, I had spent about $8.99 on a small bottle of python glass cleaner... then it occured to me that its nothing but vinager and water.

So I purchased some distilled water and some white vinager, for a total of about $4 give or take....

I have 1L of vinager, and 4L of distilled water.

What ratio should i mix it to make some good glass cleaner for the outside of my tank.... keeping in mind that i spill alot of water on it :)

My grand mother made up her own mixture, i cleaned the windows on her house with that, i don't know what ratio it was tho.....:)

1/8 cup vinegar to 2 cups of water..

IMHO...I usually just use a clean wet cloth with a dry cloth...no smudges or smears....:)

I use newspaper and water.

And since ya have a habit of spilling water..

...put the water in first and then add the vinegar.....

yup newspaper and towel work great too...just make sure to wear plastic gloves or work gloves...the ink..

well thats justgreat, my glass will be streak free.... except for ink streaks :)

I just spent like an hour wiping down the front of my glass the other day, only to overfill the tank during a WC..... forgot I was filling it.... now I got water spots lol.

anyway I want to mix all this stuff up at one time..... 1L of vinegar, 4L of water....

How do I upscale 1/8cup:2 cups, into the sizes im working with?

I think it would be 1 cup vinager, to 4L of water ... correct?
what would be the problem in making a really strong mix?

16 cups of water to 4 cups of vinegar:)

I especially like vinegar for soaking cucumbers and onions...yummmyyyy
