I really would love to house these awesome fish, but I can't find anywhere that carry these fish? What would you reccomend on how to care for these fish? Specifications?

They are very cool fish. Can't really house them with anything aggressive, and sometimes even in communities, require spot-feeding. They are practically blind, pretty much mainly filter feeders. Get up to 18-24" but grow slowly. I started mine off in a 40gal, then upgraded to a 75, but it wasn't getting enough food so I moved it to a hospital tank. Its been fattening up nicely, and is about ready to go back into the main tank. They like to hide under things, so make sure you have lots of structure. Sand substrate is good, as they will sift it. I actually got mine by accident, someone had ordered a polypterus and they sent the goby instead so I grabbed it. I had mine in with some BBGs, a mudskipper and some mollies.

Try your local petsmart or petco the ones by me have them all the time-Anne

I got mine at Petsmart. Our local Wal-Mart (I know, I know) usually stocks them too, so you might check yours if all else fails.

Live Aquaria lists them too, though currently out of stock. You could also get on their list to be notified of the next shipment. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=954+2526&pcatid=2526

And here's some basic info to get you started:

Good luck with your search  Definately not the most active fish, but very interesting and rewarding to keep.
