Visi-Jet-PS Protein Skimmer

I had recently purchased a Visi-Jet. I put it together and got in the tank. tried adjusting the air with the water flow and no luck its the second day now fighting with this thing. if i open the air valve just the slightest bit it blows tiny air bubbles through the output. If i close it i don't get any air bubbles. I've researched this model a little more and i have read more negative feedbacks than positive. can anyone please give me some advise on how to get this working properly?

I was going to get that skimmer for my 55gal like 2 years ago but decided not to. I have heard all bad reviews about it. How big is your tank? I would get a different skimmer but if your tank is a small one (under 20gals) then I would just keep trying to adjust it. Once adjust correctly it should start pulling out foam, as what others told me.

I figured out how to adjust this skimmer pretty easily. Finally. If you have this skimmer and are having problems drop me a line I'll try my best to get ya set
