im trying to get a feel of if there are any people in my area that would like to start a cichlid club and anybody anywhere that would like to help me do so IE ideas, hook ups, connections, etc.

What part of Florida are you? I am north of Jacksonville and there is nothing up this way as in fish clubs.
well i was thinking of basing it out of west Volusia but any where in the area DeLand, Daytona, Orange city, Deltona. if i had more people to help it could have two areas and a major meeting of the two groups or more. just most of the groups in Florida aren't too big ie they dont move much out of their own area i want one that expands.
You might try getting in touch with someone at the tampa bay aquarium society and see if there are any clubs in your area.
