Vortex CO2 Reactor..any good?

This might be coming a little late, but yes the vortex is an excellent CO2 reactor. I tried several membrane reactors and diffuser and none of them came even close. You need to be careful with this one because it will alter the CO2 levels and PH very quickly (in my 40G) it takes water with a PH of 8.1 down to 6.9 in about 6 minutes (I use a controller to turn it on and off). Also if you buy it get a couple extra of the sponges that go in the end... you can clean it but it will wear out after a while and the powerhead pushes it out of tube. On the downside it is a little large (depending on the size of the tank) and it does tend to collect debris inside of it - so it needs a good cleaning every 2-3 weeks (although it is easy to clean).

Thanks. I did buy one and have been happy with it. By sheer coincidence, it was clogged today and after a cleaning, it was good. But mine did not come with any sponges.
