Len,
I found the post where you were stating you could get a whole CO2 system for 99, excluding the needle valve. For those who are interested, here’s the link:

Carp,
My 90G is located on a different floor so I won’t be able to use the Same CO2 system for my 2 planted tanks. But if I do go with the Pressurized, I’ll most likely go with the one that Len found. Even though the Carbo plus sounds much simpler. (you never know when another tank is going to just pop out of no where
)
Also, I have 3.2 w/g on my 30g. On it, I have the Hagen system, (basically a DIY), and it’s working out fine for me. My plants are all pearling, especially my Madagascar Lace. So just in case you want to save some money, you could go with that, the reactor thing they have is pretty good. The bubble gets quite smaller when it reaches the top. I’m sure you can just buy that if you needed something to diffuse the CO2.
Slappy,
I was looking at your setup, it looks nice and all. But those are all low light plants. A good amount of the plants that I want are classified under moderate. Thanks though.
I was looking at a lot of sites and noticed that anything under 2w/g is “Low Light”. I’m just going to go with the 1.8w/g, get the plants that I want, and play it by ear. If the lights are too weak then I’ll get more lighting and then the CO2. Hopefully the 1.8 will do. That way I can save some bucks.
Once I get the tank chemistry and the plants all in good balance, I’ll add the Discus. Wish me Luck.
