On the topic of them changing colors, fish like Angels,discus etc. use bars as a form of expression the bars and their intensity could represent a multitude of things,such as fear,anger,excitement etc. the darkening of the bars is believed to be a camouflage mechanism, so that they can meld more readily into their surroundings. In addition the bars can be accentuated,or even abolished by background coloration.

Very good question! he is our little pound pup! we think he maybe part staffordshire and some form of hound... MAN does that dog howl! he could be a beagle for the way he howls sometimes!

yea... well... you know... with all the fish stuff Rusty finds it acceptable to play with all sorts of things... he has yet to discover that there are moving things in the tank... lol

Funny you should say that. We adopted a "pound puppy" that was supposed to be a beagle. Turned out he was mostly beagle and part pit bull. We adopted him as a companion for our beagle. I just showed your dog's pic to my hubby. He looks just like the dog we adopted. He ended up going to a a permanent home in MD with a a young bachelor. It was love at first sight between the two of them-- but he howled like a beagle and looked like a S.T. Cute, cute, cute. Sorry-- Off topic of Angels-- my bad. :evil_lol:

walmart angels

I bought one of my angels at Wal-Mart. For the most part the group looked fairly healthy, and I watched them for about a week and purchased one that was still kicking and looked very healthy. Had him for two weeks and he is doing well.

Day 5!

So today marks the 5 day mark! YAY! time for a photo update!
