Wall Aquariums...

my roommate just bought a wall aquarium, He said he got it for 120 bucks. I think he also said it was used. Its 3ftx3ftx6 in. I used an online calculator and it said it was around 33 gallons, though Im not sure if thats right. He doesn't know anything about fish really, but I can point him in the right direction. I have a feeling halfway through the year I'll be taking care of it. The first thought I had was the wall studs, but he said that it comes with a special mounting kit. But we'll see how it goes when we both move in during the fall.

i say if your gonna put it in the wall, leave the other 50cm hanging out the other side of the wall. what fish could live in that? it would be more like punishment than a home for the little guys. in my opinion.

I'm with mvigor. If you're going to do it just build a standard sized tank into the wall making the rear easily accessible for maintenance. A tank with that little depth would make for very harsh living quarters. Not much real swimming room in 6 in.

Nice mvigor. Say, how did you set your fotos to "click to enlarge"? I've never seen that on a forum yet.

The photos are of course hosted on my own web hosting outside this place. The code I used is just a nested image inside a link code. It looks like this, but using square brackets instead of parenthesis...
