Wallmart fish

Went to walmart.... Pretty sure my 3 year old cuz could keep fish better than them. Anyways they have 5 Oscars in one 2 gallon tank. I was going to get two about (1.5 inches long) How long would they be ok in a 20 gallon tank. And I have read that if you rais two together that they would be ok together but I dont know. Im going to get a bigger tank (135) just taking a little time to get the money right now. But any advice from someone with oscar experience would be nice. thanks.

i would avoid buying fish from walmart also. Even if you had to order some online, it'd likely be better.

Oscar can get massive fast. I have 3 from a local pet shop in my 55gl and it did take long before i have to give them away.

Two together would work fine in my experience. They got along rather well.

At our local Walmart store it is sad to see the way Walmart employees maintain the tanks and to see diseased fish for sale.I would not purchase any fish from Walmart

I admire you wanting to give these fish a better home, and I agree with the tank suggestions above. However - please consider that buying their fish, only motivates them to order more fish due to increased sales.
