wanna try & id these for me?

There are several of these white to tannish pink and solid white little guys on this rock. They appear to be bumpier than my other mushrooms and I can't find a description of any other shrooms that are white.
I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow.

I started to get those on my rock a couple months ago. I am thinking it is a sponge of some kind?

They could be bleached mushrooms. I had a few I found that had been growing under a rock and not getting any light. They eventually coloured up when I moved them.

that's wierd, cuz they were under metal halides at the store, in a nice display tank with all the other mushrooms and corals and everything. Hopefully they'll color back up then. I've got them pretty high up in my tank. Oh well, I mostly got that rock for the purple feather duster on it.

They can bleach from too much light as well. Do you know how long your LFS had them? Give them time they'll probably colour up again!:grinyes:

I'd move them down lower, as I agree they are bleached and perhaps from too much light in this case.

they probably won't be getting too much light in my tank though, since I've just got PCs, right? They're about midway up in my tank. I think you can see in this pic where they're at now. They're to the right of the 2 gold head gobies that are swimming together. You can see the white spots on that rock. Whaddya think? OK? Or move 'em lower?

See how they go. They may need a couple of weeks to adjust and setle in.
