Yes that will keep the cycle down. You should be fine with that.

Two filters should definetly make you ok. I think I may have gotten the size wrong on the PFS here. It was $15.00 for 20 Lbs. not 50, sorry.

hi there i recentley put play sand in my tank without cleaning it and the water as gone cloudy will it harm my fish and what can i do to get it clear or do i just leave it

Hi madblonde,
For future reference, you will get better results by starting a new thread with your question in the title. As far as the sand goes, you can do partial water changes to get the water to clear up a bit. I had the same problem using a Flourite substrate, my filter cleaned most of it. The filter cartridge will need to be rinsed in dechlorinated water to remove what dirt it's picked up. The remaining silt will settle. Good luck.
