The penywort and the stargrass and the mylfoil imediately turned yellow and died now my hairgrass is starting to turn yelow I have co2 injection and coralights. what did I do wrong? At that note I'm willing to start again what plants would you recomend and what should I do next time to make a diference?:read:

What kind of lighting do you have? What ferts did you use? What wattage were the lights? The plants you said died first are some of the easiest plants to grow and don't really have difficult requirements. I have some pennywort in my 5 gallon hex with 10 watts of fluorescent light over it and it still grows fairly quick.

It was a coralight and was very bright however I had no fertilizers of any kind other than florish excel.

I don't realy know what the wats were but it has 6 bulbs and the shopkeeper said it was the best light they had

also I had it on 12 hrs per day, no algae problems though.

They are very bright and I'm going to check and find out what the wattage of the lights are

there are four 265 wat ligts
