Hi. What is a good way to remove water marks and mineral deposits on aquarium glass ? I use groundwater from an artesian well that contains iron. Is there a chemical that can do this?

personally i would not use steel wool on glassglass plus (or windex) + steel wool
or you can always try vinegar
I've been using Coralife Glass Cleaner & Polisher spray for a few months now and it's worked great for general cleaning. My glass is spot-free, streak free, absolutely sparkling clear. I don't even see dust or fingerprints on the glass anymore. Got mine at ThatPetPlace... http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/10541/product.webAll these should be done with no fish in the tank and then rinsed really well before fish are added.
Maybe I read this differently but, I originally thought you were talking about water spots on the glass after a water change. If that's the case, then you can just use a damp towel and then dry it completely. Or, if you are really careful, away from the tanks, spray some glass cleaner on a towel and carefully wipe the outside of the tank down making sure to avoid the open water.
