I have a 92 Corner Gallon Tank that seems to have little dirty. There are very small particles (dust like particles) in the water. I do not believe it is air bubbles since it is everywhere and when I turn off the filters they are still present. I have a magnum 350 PRO Canister with BioWheel 60 and a Penguin 400 as well. Does anyone have any advice or tips for me. I have (4) of the Marineland filters with carbon and the Penguin 400 and the Magnum has carbon in. I do weekly to biweekly water changes at 25-30%. There are also lots of live plants in this tank. The substrate is very fine rocks.

I have heard some people use different types of things in the filters to help filter out the water - but nothing was specific.

Please help, thanks.

Sounds like the microbubbles I got when I combined my canister with my biowheel filter. Try turning the cansister outlet to point up towards the surface of the water so that you can definately see surface disturbance. It will probably clear up within a day or so. These bubbles are so small that they take time to diffuse out of the water even with the filters turned off.
