Was it a red devil?

Many years ago i bought 5 baby fish..they were an emerald green, all the same color and same size. I was told they were red devils. As they matured, four of them turned a reddish orange color but one of them got a beautiful pure white, almost titanium white in some parts. They were all the same shape...just this one was a different color. I have never heard or read of white red devils. They had the same shoveling behavour with gravel.

Most likely, yes. White RDs aren't as common as the red/orange ones but there are still quite a few out there

A all white devil is pretty rare and souhgt after by breeders. Can I have it?

Alas, this was one of the most beautiful fish I have ever seen...the white was incredibly white..but I speak in the pasts tense because it was more than 15 years ago. I would love to find another one also. It was exceptionally smart also.
