Hi
I was washing my flourite and I washed the heck out of it. WHen I test my "clean flourite" The water is still a little cloudy....should I wash it again? or is it fine?

Just add it to the tank, it will make the tank cloudy for a day or two, but the filter will take care of it.
I did the same thing before, kept washing and washing, gave up and just put it in the tank.

flourite sucks to wash.

If you are adding to a new tank with nothing in it, I suggest just putting it in now, it will be super cloudy regardless of what you do...

What I did to clear up the water is replace most of the filter's innards with filter floss with just some token foam to hold it in place and run that on high for a few days, worked like a charm and cleared it up.
After it cleared up I swapped out the floss for my media and started cycling.

Good luck!

Call me lazy, but I added a bag of Flourite Black without rinsing it at all. The goldfish survived the dust storm unharmed, which lasted about 4 hours with my FX5 canister.
