I just recently moved to Leesburg, VA which is near Dulles/Sterling/Ashburn and not too far from Point of Rocks or even Frederick, MD. When I lived in the Pittsburgh, PA area I was blessed with Elmer's Aquarium when I needed something more specific and an absolutely great PetSmart team in Greensburg, PA for the simple maintence stuff. When I moved here I found that I was literally just down the street from a Petco.... I have to say that my experience there was less than pleasant.... it was actually downright horrible. So the next time I needed supplies I consulted PetSmart's website and drove to Sterling to pick up some stuff.... I figured this would be great since my experiences at the Greensburg, PA PetSmart were just fantastic..... I was again dissapointed. I was greeted by people who knew more than me and wanted to make sure that point was made. Yes, they know more than me... thats why I was going there. The experience was also horrible.... almost as bad as my Petco experience in Leesburg.
So know my question is this... Does anyone know of any really good aquarium places in my area. I'm not against a small drive if the place I am going to is going to help me and be pleasant to deal with. If there is something like Elmer's (www.elmersaquarium.com) that really focuses on fish, that would be awesome.... but any advice would be helpful.
