I have become intrigued.

This forum has what looks like some good info about what this fish may be.

I'm thinking you want the vespicula depressifrons one, although there are others I found when searching for waspfish/butterfly goby. I also found it going by the name Leaf goblinfish. It seems the vespicula depressifrons species gets about 4", so I'm thinking if you have it alone it wouldn't need a terribly huge tank. I think it might be safe to treat it as other predatory fish that get that large. I also translated a website from chinese or maybe japanese that I think said they aren't territorial. From what I gather they should be kept in the usual tropical temperature range. It seems they can be kept in brackish or full marine. They come from Indonesia, New Guinea, and the Philippines. They're super poisonous and apparently it hurts like hell, so I'm going to recommend not playing with these guys. They're predators so fish that can fit in it's mouth probably will end up there. Mmm I hope this helps, for all my searching I couldn't really find anything conclusive. Good luck looking for more info, and I'd love it if you'd share anything else you get. These guys look awesome, and they make me want a brackish type tank again.

through what i have found they stay a tad smaller then what windeindoiel said, Probably 4 inch in the wild but in a tank all i saw and heard was 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Through other websites forums i also found out they were quite cheap and LFS get them in once in a great while. Havent found a site selling them though. and i also heard of a guy who kept them with his green spotted puffer with NO problems. And the pics are of the vespicula depressifrons version of the waspfish/butterfly goby/leaf goblinfish/ freshwater grouper ...Darn this thing has to many names
