well i just did it darn it and i think everything is ok so far?:wall::uhoh:
if so tell me about what you did in reaction to this awful experience.
did anything break?

and for ipod nano's they are able to be washed and dryed ha done that one too.always check your pockets.

let it dry out while off and it'll be fine, even if there is a little seepage

Would coffee qualify for this post. I spilled coffee on the keyboard.

I spilled a glass of rum on my old laptop...had to replace the keyboard. I justed a glass of iced tea on my wireless keyboard, just took the battery out, ran it under hot water for about 5 min and let it dry for a few days and it works fine.

My niece spilled a cup of coffee onto my keyboard..it had to be replaced. I have spilled minute amounts of mt dew on my laptop and it faired ok, just one of the latches was stiff for a while from the stickiness.

I have spilled countless beers on my laptop. I use one of the spray cans of air and blast it out and its always fine. My desktop PC I have gone through 3 keyboards though, lol....hmmm...maybe I should reevaluate drinking while on the computer.

I dropped my brand new cell phone in the washer a couple years ago. I was doing laundry and talking to my mom and..... oops. I loved that phone for the few hours that I had it. We've also spilled countless liquids on the keyboard(s) around here. Some had to be replaced and fortunately, this one still works. Matter of fact, this one was so "clogged" with dried up coffee in it, I ran it through the dishwasher (someone else's idea). Came out brand new. So far, knock on wood, no spills on the laptop or the iPod.

I was a vendor at an outdoor motorcycle show. I was using my laptop to create and cut vinyl graphics.. Well the rain started to fall, and I THOUGHT my EZ-Up was doing a fine job of keeping everything dry...

Well, it started to rain harder.. I decided to move everything inside my truck, when I picked up my laptop, a stream of water ran from it, bu it was still on. I didnt turn it off...
it worked fine for a few more hours till i went home. The next day, it would not turn on. Still have it a year and a half later, and it still wont work.

wow well this is a pretty acquiring situation we have here on AC.well my lap top is still alive WHOO HOO and that will be the end of the drinks by my laptop(except beer duh).i might pull a rachel hehe.thanks for the feedback everyone, its always interesting to hear peoples stories.:D
