water change/ cloudy water

hey! did a 15% water change yesterday, and by evening the tank was a total cloudy mess! fish don't seem thrilled. also, when i flipped on the light to look last night, yellow tang looked very ill. big football shaped white spot on sides, head was grayish brown, and his color was faded. but after a few minutes, he looked totally normal! did the light shock him, or do they change color in the dark? never had a prob. with water changes before...what's up? (params are fine)

I'm not sure why your water was cloudy but mine lightens up when the lights go off, but soon changes to normal colors not longer after the lights come on for the day.

Tangs change colour at night "they also change colour when stressed." Did you put additives in your water that almost sounds like free calcium. Have you checked your ph was it ro/di etc?

whew! tang looks great today, and the only additive that i use is tap water conditioner from nutrafin, "qua- plus), always used it, no problems before.
