I have been buying water from a LFS that mixed their own water. I was told they used a salt mix. My reef has been doing great with this water. Well, that fish store closed. So I called another store in my area and the sell - Catalina water. Which is real sea water filtered and skimmed to perfection (apparently). My question is do you think there will be any problems with changing the type of water?

I have coral, fish, crabs, shrimp, extra in the tank and I do not want to have anybody losing lives....

http://www.catalinawater.com/ - this is the website of the water.

The store clerk said I would have no problems with this water at all.

I don't foresee any problems. Just make sure your tank is relatively similar in major parameters before you do a water change.

I use it once in a while just to be different. It can be higher in Nitrates, so test it.
